God

Neither history nor science credits human beings with the potential
for creating the human race. The building blocks, the "blueprint" for our genetic makeup, didn’t originate as an "idea" in the mind of a human being.

Whether you believe in someone or something higher than yourself is responsible for your existence and the creation of the world is a personal matter; nevertheless, when we observe the incredible design of ourselves, the universe and planet earth, we can intuitively comprehend and conclude that the intricate, systematic structure and organization of those systems wasn’t by happenstance.

Human beings have long wondered why we are here, how we arrived here, and who to credit for the creation. Etched within our being is a longing -- a seeking to understand and have those inner questions answered; and, why wouldn’t that be the case, when our observation of "what is right in front of the eyes view" warrants the seeking. Our seeking commences from within, regarding outward appearances. You do the math -- what or who is responsible for putting those longings and desires to "know" within us?

Our "Self Actualization" and Spiritual growth towards "Oneness" is a plan implanted within our human essence. After all our seeking to know, we have yet to read about a human being responsible for creating the plan. We may not visibly see or fully understand the source of creation, howbeit evidence of the creation lies before our eyes, and the evidence is the proof.

According to the Bible, Romans 1:18-20 states: The wrath of
God is being revealed from  heaven against all the godlessness and
the wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

So, why is it, that some human beings ignore what is plain to see right before their eyes? Always seeking an "outer understanding" that takes them further and further away from their inner being, which is where the connection lies between the Creator and His creation. For like the umbilical cord that connects mother and child, we too are endowed with the invisible cord that connects us to our Creator-- Our spirit!

  8. God was my G-topic last year, but this year, He's more of a power source to my blog posts. That's why the theme is what it is. I'm fulfilling a directive He gave me. :-)

  10. I like the old story of Maimonides arguing with another philosopher about the creation of the world. The philosopher stepped away for a minute and when he returned, Maimonides had a parchment with a lovely poem written on it. "This is beautiful! Where did it come from?" the man said. "I spilled some ink and this poem appeared," Maimonides told him. "That's impossible!" said the man, and Maimonides said: "And yet you expect me to believe the same of all the life and beauty of this planet."
